PX Grade Purging Compound
ASACLEAN PX Grade excels in purging super-engineering resins at processing temperatures of up to 788°F (420°C). Purging high-temperature resins, by nature, is usually associated with considerable amount of smoke and odor. However, PX Grade purges these resins with a remarkably low level of smoke and odor, while maintaining significant cleaning power at temperatures over 700°F (370°C).

Tips when using ASACLEAN:
![]() |
ASACLEAN does not work by chemical reaction. |
![]() |
No soak time or hold-up time is required for an effective purge |
![]() |
For maximum performance, ASACLEAN should not be diluted with other materials. |
![]() |
ASACLEAN works best with maximum agitation. Use the maximum safe screw speed. |
![]() |
For injection molding, also use maximum safe back pressure with the screw in the most forward position. |
Tips for purging with ASACLEAN PX Grade:
![]() |
ASACLEAN PX Grade should not be left idle in the machine at the following temperatures for longer than the amount of time indicated as decomposition and/or glass separation may occur: - Do not let sit in barrel for more than 30 minutes above 700°F (370°C) - Do not let sit in barrel for any amount of time above 735°F (390°C) |

Do NOT use for hot runner cleaning and sealing due to its glass content. |
Usage Example
Purging out high-temperature resins can be challenging due to the very nature
of the application. Not many purging compounds can approach the processing
temperatures of these resins, let alone purge them out successfully.
ASACLEAN PX is formulated to withstand high temperatures and makes
purging super engineering resins effortless. PX Grade is recommended by
manufacturers of high temperature resins.
