Over the last several years we have seen a strong increase in demand for our Asaclean product line. In the past our typical customer may have been an injection molding company in the automotive industry. We now see interest literally across the entire plastics industry. Companies are looking to reduce production costs, become more efficient and increase profits. Our customers are now enjoying the benefits ofAsaclean® in thermoplastic extrusion and blow molding applications as well. Additionally, customers realize that a quality purge, like Asaclean®, can be used in a variety of ways. Cleaning hot runners, facilitating a screw pull for either an injection molding machine or extruder, sealing barrels and machine shutdown and other innovative ways are some examples to name a few.
Just recently a large internationally known film extrusion company in the Northeast contacted us for help. They extrude film for a variety of industries. Their issue was not only cleaning the barrel and screw but making sure there was no purging compound residue left behind. They were purging from PET resin to TPU resin.
