For many processors, purge compounds are just a small piece of the pie for their business. A recent example of this was a black to grey changeover for a profile extrusion company sampling our UF2 product. After completion of the trial, a 74% cost savings per purge resulted in saving 75% of their time per purge. An hour changeover was cut down to 15 minutes, twice a week. Again, this sounds like a small win but when was the last time you were able to put back almost 80 hours of production time back into your manufacturing schedule?
